Day 1 (Saturday, September 29) Depart U.S.A. 

Day 2 Arrival in Rome, Italy (Sunday, September 30) Lodging: Rome Hotel in the historic center of Rome. In the evening Vince will lead an informal walk of the area near our hotel. Enjoy dinner with Vince and experience a typical Roman meal.

Day 3 Rome (Monday, October 1) Lodging: Rome Hotel. After breakfast, the group will enjoy a remarkable 3 – 4 hour guided tour of Vatican City (Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica). The guide is a certified historian of Rome. The remainder of the day is yours to explore.

Day 4 Rome (Tuesday, October 2) Lodging: Rome Hotel. Free Day. Go shopping, get another great photo, explore the museums and monuments or find your own romantic piazza and daydream, the Roman day is yours to enjoy. An optional tour of Ancient Rome (Pantheon, Forum, Coliseum and more) will be organized for those interested.

Day 5 Rome – Sorrento (Wednesday, October 3) Lodging: Sorrento Hotel. Depart Rome by luxury private coach for Sorrento. On the way, the group will stop for a winery tour in the town of Frascati. After settling in Sorrento, there will be an informal walk exploring this picturesque town.

Day 6 Sorrento (Thursday, October 4) Lodging: Sorrento Hotel. Free Day. Explore the city at a relaxed pace. Shop, have a leisurely meal and taste the famous Limoncello (a liqueur made from fresh lemons, sugar and alcohol) that was first created in Sorrento. The day is yours to do as you wish… take a boat to explore the coast, or just hang out in the cafes – the choices are endless. In the evening, join Vince for another remarkable Italian feast.

Day 7 Sorrento (Friday, October 5) Lodging: Sorrento Hotel. After enjoying a breakfast overlooking the Bay of Naples, the group will meet for a Full Day Tour exploring the island of Capri. The group will travel by hydrofoil for the excursion to Capri. The group will then explore this romantic island in luxury with a private guide that will inform and entertain you during the journey. An afternoon meal (pranzo) is planned for the group in Anacapri.

Day 8 Sorrento (Saturday, October 6) Lodging: Sorrento Hotel. A group farm tour is scheduled with tasting and demonstrations of local food producers in the quaint town of Schiazzano near Sorrento.

Day 9 Sorrento (Sunday, October 7) Lodging: Sorrento Hotel. Free Day. Consider an optional tour of the ancient city of Pompeii, just a 30 minute train ride from Sorrento. Also, you may enjoy visiting the charming towns of Amalfi and romantic Positano or take the hydrofoil to the island of Ischia.

Day 10 Sorrento – Naples (Monday, October 8) Lodging: Naples Hotel. After breakfast, we check out and make our way to Naples. Once we arrive, a guided tour is planned to visit and explore the historic center of Naples. After check in at the hotel in Naples, join Vince for an informal orientation of the neighborhood around our hotel.

Day 11 Naples (Tuesday, October 9) Lodging: Naples Hotel. After a free morning of sightseeing and shopping, join the group for an “arrivederci” lunch at Vince’s favorite Neapolitan restaurant.

Day 12 Naples (Wednesday, October 10) After breakfast, make your way to the airport for your trip back to the U.S.A.

$500 reservation deposit is required by April 1, 2018 with balance owed for the tour by July 1, 2018. If reservation is cancelled $500 is not refundable unless the spot is filled. If Mottola Italian Tours cancels the tour, all money paid to Vince’s Enterprises, Inc. will be refunded.
